^ in fairness he lost in finals to two of the greatest in history. It’s not like he blew it against a lesser opponent and his lone major he beat the great Novak!

One for a scrappy corner in northern Italy. They are happy in Tyrol too surely.

Happy for Sinnerman...he defeated the unbeatable mental genius in Novak and finished off the GS periental Russian bridesmaid. Now tennis has a real good champion that it can be proud of. Congrats

that was mightily impressive from Sinner. I'm a fan! The future is bright with Sinner and Alcaraz. Although I like Carlos a tiny bit more. Just a tiny bit. Now if one more guy with a one hander can come through and challenge them in a new Big 3 then I'll be a pig in shit. I'm all about the one handers and I need someone to take the throne from my boys, JMac, Edberg then Federer...

So happy for Sinner and he is the brightest part of this event. He is the best example of what hardwork can do to a career. That was a very good match, and I wouldn't have minded Meddy winning but today was for the bambino.

I like both of them but it's heartbreaking for Medvedev for losing another final from 2 sets up. Needs to get to the next final fresher obviously if he gets the chance to make another. Less rubbish passive play in set 3 would've won it for him. Needs to cut that rubbish out cos he actually started set 4 super aggressive getting well into Sinner's first service game and played far better than he did towards the end of set 3 which he blew.

Congrats to Jannik. The torch has officially been passed to the new generation.

Medvedev is looking more like this generation's Cilic.
