Long but interesting article on the Deandre Jordan fiasco:

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/13247673/how-deandre-jordan-almost-left-los-angeles-clippers

All of that for a man who probably cant shoot free throws or have less low post moves than you and me..:nono

The awesome thing is that they mentioned the similarities to Sprewell in the article. You should check out poor Latrell's wiki page:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latrell_Sprewell

My friends and I still see Spree out at the bars downtown. He's always out mackin' on the 20 year old blondes. Latrell isn't the most social dude (no surprise) but he still looks to be in pretty good shape.

Only Penny Hardaway situation wa dumber, if I recall, Penny was in negotiations for a 200 million deal with the Magic and decided it wasn't a good long term deal.

Poor Penny, the injuries to him and Grant Hill robbed us of some better bball in the 90's and it was already very good.

Yeah, I remember Hardaway's words: "I wouldn't accept a Penny less."

Crazy thing is that it is apparently a bargain:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbadenhausen/2015/03/18/lebron-james-is-nbas-top-shoe-salesman-with-340-million-for-nike-in-2014/

Still seems like a ton to pay for Harden but barring injury they'll make it back quick.

Derrick Rose is getting sued for allegedly gang raping his ex girlfriend. Oh boy.

Going straight to civil court two years after the supposed rape occurred. I'm not one to assume a girl accusing a rich celebrity of rape is lying and is only after money but this one seems fishy to say the least.

Rose might be heading to New York.

It's a done deal. Pretty sad that it's come to that but I can't blame the Bulls for doing it.

Le Bron says he is at CAVs to stay, not exercising the last year buy out option.

Does anyone know as to whether CAVs as a team is expected to become better or worse (compared to this year) after all the horse-trading is done?

Bulls had to do it. I'm really surprised anyone would want Rose especially for that price. Bulls get off easy by being able to dump that huge contract. They're also trying to trade Butler because no one can get along w/ him. Personally, I think they're stuck w/ Butler because his contract is pretty big too.

Most likely they will be the same unless Love gets traded in which case they may be slightly better or slightly worse. I suppose the possibility of Lebron declining means they could be worse too but he has actually coasted the past few regular seasons and then turned it on big time in the playoffs. I wouldn't expect anything different next year unless he really wants to chase a 5th MVP award.

I think Butler would garner plenty of interest. If they trade him (and get far less in return) they are in full rebuild mode, no?
