Miss Little Bit had better keep her day job....she couldn't carry a note even if you provided her with an 18 wheeler truck

Several WTA Players will use their protected ranking for the AO
Women's Special Ranking confirmed registration status.

Jennifer Brady SR14
Angelique Kerber SR31
Ajla Tomjanovic SR33
Naomi Osaka SR46
Amanda Anisimova SR61
Katy McNally SR71
Aleksandra Krunic SR99
Hsieh Su-Wei SR106

I would imagine Ajla and Naomi would receive wild cards.
God help whomever has to face Hsieh Su-Wei in the early rounds.. she is so dangerous

The WTA "Carousel' of coaches and players continues :)
Pere Riba who was coaching Zheng Qinwen, left to coach Coco Gauff, now has left Gauff coaching team and now has gone back to coaching Zheng Qinwen, apparently tly he is Zheng's sole coach, Zheng is such a talented player, hopefully he can bring out the best in Zheng.
Remember Zheng had Wim Fissette as her coach, before he decided to go back to coach Naomi Osaka in 2024

I would imagine Naomi Osaka ( also a former AO champion) will receive a wild card
Any former champion of a GS is entitled to a main draw wild card, Osaka could use her special ranking confirmed registration status of 46

Hi Tennis friends. Sweet Caroline is continuing her comeback - and yes I'm trilled - an early yule present to me. Two Danes in the main draw.
Another good news today - my ZX Spectrum Next is arriving today. For those who doesn't know what it is - it's a completely remake and enhanced version of the ZX Spectrum - personal computer -which was sold in the beginning of the 80ties. Ordered it in a kickstarter campaign in August 2019. It's been let back a couple of times because things like Corona and parts that should be redesigned a.s.o. Yey - yule has come but once again. Anyone of you has had a Spectrum? - well here is a picture of it

That’s some old beauty there! I’d say it was some task to get a hold of that!

16 year old Mirra Andreeva ( or has Tossip refers to her as The Vulture lol ) made the biggest jump into the WTA year end Top 100 this year, rising 359 spots from the 2022 (#405) to 2023 (#46) year end rankings.Mirra got her first four Top 20 wins and made the second week of a major for the first time in 2023.
One to watch in 2024.
