It is bad when I say that I mean she has 10 aces to 3 DFs at the moment, but those DFs came at bad times. Her return game being off definitely doesn't help her serving because she is under pressure to make sure she holds.

I can only hope Serena improves, but I will say I love her outfit. The colors are amazing. Best outfit of the tournament for me.

I think it will be a different Serena. This seemed like a shaky, nervous Serena who didn't want an upset. Nadal is always super-nervous about that 1st match as well and then calms down....except for IW 2014 of course...didn't calm down at all.:s

Tough opening match for Serena but glad she made it through. Very well played by Shvedova in set 1 but she royally screwed up in that first set TB.
