Chung beating brother Zverev 6-0, 6-2 is not normal. I mean, he is good and all but...
Don't disdain Chung, he plays very fast and makes good shots and Zverev is all serve and volley but plays like a chicken without head

And by the way......WE ARE IN PARIS!!!!
Shapo made his days in Canada beating Nadal and Delpo and also beating Tsonga in the USO but since then he has not done too much. He is still too young, we’ll see how he will do the next year

Are you purposely being this dense? We are talking H2H, keep your other bitterness out of this.
That seems unusually sharp and out of context. You mentioned Rafa getting up on Roger in 2013, when he was playing hurt. I only mentioned the same shift in H2H in 2009, when Rafa was likewise playing hurt. What bitterness are you citing? I thought it was a fair parallel.

Looking numbers.......before 2017 Federer has beaten Nadal in HC: 2 times in Outdoor and 6 Indoor
Nadal has beaten Federer in HC: 8 times in Outdoor and 1 Indoor
This year (2017) ............. Federer has beaten Nadal in HC 4 times
Total: Federer has beaten Nadal 6 times in HC Outdoor and Nadal has beaten Federer 8 times in HC Outdoor

You're still going on about h2h to measure achievements on hard court lol. How about a better stat for determining this 'cos your argument is total bs as usual...

Nadal
1 Australian Open
3 x US Opens
2 x Wimbledons

Federer
5 Australian Opens
5 x US Opens (5 consecutive years)
8 x Wimbledons (5 consecutive)

Since you laughably claimed they are as good as each other on everything except clay I added the grass results too. The above sure looks pretty equal to me!

Could you please find another thread to dispute the Fedal discussion?
You completely hijacked the Paris master thread and it is tiresome to keep reading about things which do not belong here!

A few surprises on the first day in Paris. Chung laid a beatdown on Brother Zverev. The result wasn't wholly surprising but the scoreline was. Shapovalov and Paire make early exits... Simon gone and Johnson thrashed by Haase.

I noticed Khachanov gone early, too, so a couple of young guns tired out late in the year. (I did pick Chung to beat the lesser Zverev, though, but as you say, the score surprises.) And maddeningly for me, no matter if I pick Chardy or not, he always screws me up in my draw.

Yeah, Chardy is a nightmare when it comes to predicting anything.

The little man Schwartzman is doing a good year. This morning had a little time to watch Donskoy for the first time after I don’t know how long

Uncle Sam loses in first round. His chances of making it to WTF goes down the drain.

To me it felt like he didn't want to go to London and possibly end up with an 0-3 record. Cuz he sure didn't seem to be putting too much effort into any of his matches the last 6 weeks...

I dunno...a lot of players start looking spent this time of year. There are plenty with something to play for who don't seem to be coming up with the wins. PCB has a better shot than Querrey at the WTF, and he lost today, too. As @isabelle mentioned earlier, Paris/Bercy keeps hoping to move their tourney to a better slot because they don't really get the best out of most players...or even get them, at all.
