Djokovic with the rare terrible tiebreaker, and we're going 3.

Rune is stretching his legs. I just don't see him having enough left to finish the job.

Rune had his chances in the 1st se up a break but could not go on with it, he was being aggressive on the returns, though his serve let him down when it mattered,

I think it was an inevitable drop in concentration more than the legs. That was a tough 2nd. set.
He was looking pretty gassed even before the TB, though he's looking better now. But he's got fitness issues.

Rune will NEVER win a slam if he doesn’t get better conditioning.
You read my mine, I was just about to post the same
I do not know who is his physical trainer, maybe he needs a new one, the off season he has to get fitter, it is a 'glaring deficit' in his game

Rune will NEVER win a slam if he doesn’t get better conditioning. Excellent athlete, excellent shotmaker, no stamina.

Indeed, if you reverse the stamina/conditionning of both then Rune would have won 6-0, 6-0 based on tennis alone.
