This is Totally Unfair that Jess and Jil have to play their s/final at this time of night.As Kskate said they could have put this match on a court near the main court in Madrid.....Feli Get Your Act Together .....this is a shared tournament!
BTW Jess and Coco are scheduled to play a ladies doubles QFs match after this one? Honestly this is just laughable

I'd be more sympathetic if I hadn't watched tennis for decades in the past when it was so chivalrous to allow the ladies to play 1st only to run men into matches going well past midnight! They want equal money, they can handle equal scheduling!

Point being Jess was also scheduled to play a QF Doubles match after rest from her s.final match
Important point there were empty courts available and they should have started the ladies s.final on a court near the main one

Ladies Singles Final,

Ons Jabeur (8) vs Jessica Pelgula (12)

Both ladies will be vying to win their first WTA1000 title in Madrid
H2H it is even......Ons has won their past two meetings Chicago 2021 and Dubai 2022
This is their first meeting on clay.
Ons to me is the more 'natural clay courter' she has variety in her overall game
Jessica has proven in Madrid and on clay, she can be aggressive though with control,she picks her spots and her bhand has been 'on song' this week and it is her most offensive weapon.
Both ladies deserve to be in the final and good luck to both Ons and Jessica! hoping for a competitive final!
