Of course Matteo had a 5-3 lead in the TB and lost? Daniel won 76 (5), Matteo squandered 5 points
Daniel is quite tall for a Japanese man at 6ft 3in, his serve for a tall man is weak, he is a good athlete and solid off both sides, shame he cannot get his serve better, it would allow him to get his ranking higher for starters.

On deck, Nakatomi vs. Meddy. Should be entertaining but I don't see any upset here.

Oh well Shapo who had a 4-1 lead in the 2nd set and let Humbert back in the match after his mini breakdown in the 1st set, goes out in straight sets to 75 64

He needs to go to a camp for players that lose their way (aka Betty Ford clinic for Lost Tennis Talent). Just take a month off the tour, go to camp and come back w/ an attitude adjustment

Matteo righted the ship in the 2nd set and served a bagel to Daniel, going 3 now, though I must say Matteo's movement looks okay which is a good sign

Andy Murray wont have to play PCB in the 2nd round, he is out, Murray will play LL Radu Albot, lets see if Murray can win in SS for a change, miracles do happen once in awhile.

Jordon Thompson aka Pornstache, probably the biggest win of his career to date, defeats the No 2 seed Tsitsipas 76 (0) 46 76(5)
Interesting to see if Tsitsipas plays Miami his shoulder is still a concern
2nd Top 5 win for Pornstache he previously defeated #1 Murray at Queens in 2017
According to @don_fabio, that's going to mess up a lot of people's draw.

It will, though it was obvious in his match especially in the 1st set his shoulder is still a concern, he didnt win a single point, lets see if he competes in Miami, he kept alluding to his shoulder in his media press.at IW before his 1st rd match

Helluva point from both for Nakashima to get on the board in the 2nd. Fun tennis.

I give Babycakes 2 more months of poor results and then he can join Shapo at the camp
He's been on the comeback trail from injury since anyone can remember, but he does have to right the ship at some point.

Where is Robbie Koenig? Poor Jason Goodall struggling to make good commentary with Courier as his foil.

I get the impression Robbie doesn't work for TTC anymore. I haven't heard him calling matches for them in ages.

Me, either, but why? I think everyone agrees that Goodall and Koenig were the Dream Team.
Don't know. Maybe some kind of contract dispute. I do know they have gone out of their way to get some some former and/or injured players in the studio.
