@Moxie, I did my drawchallenge as promised ;)
Oops, I think this time I missed it! Work irritatingly intervening. I haven't even looked at the draws yet, and it's already started. Next one. :crossed-swords:

I thought so, I mean that probably the work has come in a way. I will hold the fort in our group this time :)

@MargaretMcAleer, no need to get scared of the draws. It's not like someone will judge your tennis knowledge. Really a lot of it has to do with luck, many matches get close, so hard to guess who goes through. I didn't do very well in AO draw too, partly due to expecting too much of Medvedev. I got right with Tsitsipas up to SF and Novak for the win, that's about it, the rest is not even worth mentioning.

Here for Indian Wells, I have Medvedev for the win and I know he doesn't have the good history in Indian Wells, but he seems like a player to count on at the moment. I have Sinner in the final, also Alcaraz and Tsitsipas to lose in SF. That more or less goes in line with what some others have chosen. Some have Sinner or Alcaraz to win a tournament too. It's a guessing game really without the big3 around.

Thiem blowing that third set tiebreak against Adrian, the courts are playing slower and that was his match to win. Btw, great to see young Ben Shelton defeats Fabio (one of my favorites but hey, too much pasta) in front of an American crowd and his Mom sitting court side. Very nice indeed.

I agree it does has to do with luck, maybe I will do Miami, Meddy is the form player at present on the HC, regardless of his history of not doing well at IW. The Young Greek still complaining about his shoulder at present, if it is that bad maybe he should not be playing.Watched Alcaraz in training, his movement seems fine, after having some rest after his leg strain, though playing a match is a different story., though he has a lot to play for at IW, if he can win IW, also defend his points in Miami he can over take Novak as the No 1 player.

Thiem appears t/b done! Murray's looked better even w/ his sad defensive game! He barely excaped some kid yesterday! Idiot works so hard! :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Tsitsipas is struggling losing the 1st set in a TB to 0. Thompson aka Pornstache serving at 82%.Stef picked up his overall play, though his serve is still giving him the yips, one bad service game from Pornstache, Stef wins the 2nd set 64
TB for the 3rd set.

Jordon Thompson aka Pornstache, probably the biggest win of his career to date, defeats the No 2 seed Tsitsipas 76 (0) 46 76(5)
Interesting to see if Tsitsipas plays Miami his shoulder is still a concern
2nd Top 5 win for Pornstache he previously defeated #1 Murray at Queens in 2017

Medvedev was saying in practice the courts at IW are like clay. Petra Kvitova agrees, in her match today, saying the courts are slower, bouncing high like clay, even the balls aren't really flying then they're old

Gawd, no one seems to care there's been a big upset! It's going to happen more often w/o the Big 3 in the event! Expectations have to be draining! I guess it shouldn't be that much of a surprise that Stefanos dropped his 1st match to Porn'stache Thompson!:face-with-tears-of-joy::fearful-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Shapo DF slams his racquet ask's his box to leave, ( politely) they dont budge, as usual Shapo is his own worst enemy loses the 1st set to Humbert 75
Shapo does my head in, leading 4-1 in the 2nd set, only to let Humbert come back to level at 4 all
I am going to watch Matteo vs Daniel instead

Not a surprise one of the crown princes lost. He's been a headcase since he choked that RG final. Dude is completely up & down like a coaster. I'd be extremely surprised if he ever wins a slam.

He does have a shoulder problem, for the life of me he should have not played, apart from being a headcase and a choke artist
