How can they have a 2 month ban when the season is over for most players.

Apology from Stefanos Tsitsipas ( better late than never),

" What I said in the press conference against Rublev was very unfair towards him. I don't think he's limited in his game. He's one of the most disciplined guys, who is very professional towards his work. He's a funny guy, a nice soul.I enjoy being around him:.

Just some advice from me....Engage Brain Before Opening Mouth from now on .
Of course Patrick M said 'It is good that Stefenos has cleared the air"..........lol! seeing that Tsitsipas trains at his academy :)

ESPN isn't sending its play-by-play and color commentators to Melbourne next month, instead calling matches from studios in Bristol, Connecticut to cut costs. The shift to Bristol started in 2021 for pandemic travel reasons, but that shouldn't be a factor in 2023.

This is the new world, and I've noticed it a lot on Tennis Channel. They can broadcast from the central office, just watching the feed. All they have to do is stay up weird hours. They'll do the Majors in person, snd some others, but once you offered them a cheaper option, they'll never go back. Especially where they don't control the feed, anyway.

Does this mean that all of the above with PR have applied for entry?

As far as I know yes, there are alternatives just in case the players with PR withdraw at a later date before the AO
V.Pospisil is the 1st alternative ranking of 100
Reciprocal w/cards also for USA....Ben Shelton and France, yet to be named ,and of course a few Aussie players will receive wild cards
BTW with the withdrawal of Monfils, Nuno Borges was the first alternative but entered the MD as Monfils already withdrew.

ITF announces the Hopman Cup will return to the tennis calendar and will be held in Nice, France ( clay) from July 19-23, 2023
Six teams for the first 2 years, plan to expand to eight in 2025.
It will be interesting to see if players sign up, seeing this is scheduled week after Wimbledon, on clay as well.
