Oh, but I have! Now I spot Robert Walker. You sly dog.
In this case, Robert Walker is you. You should be worried about that. Or I should. ;)

Didn't we just have that gif? In the absence of real argument, AP and I have decided to take it to the mat, for the entertainment of the rest of you. You are welcome.

Only if KELI can be my tag team partner and stand in to be my proxy. It would not look good if AP get whipped by a gal from NYC. I'm from the westside of the Chi and would be exiled forever.
Moxie, we are all good. No worries. Vamos Nadal.

Watching TV replay of yesterday's match with Jim courier commentary about how he has been a Debbie downer in regards to to the second half of Rafa's career ( starting around 2013) and even during yesterday's match is hilarious.

I picked Nick in 4 sets, but anything can happen here really. I hope we have a match for a start. This is Nick's best chance to win a slam. Stakes are high and will be interesting to see how he will manage that. We know Nadal will give his everything on the court.

Odds are dropping on Kyrgios since yesterday, he is a favorite according to bookies, but it sounds weird.

I didn't see or hear, but commiserate wth Courier! Rafa's been running game on us all; "I'm the walking wounded and shouldn't expect anything of me" as he continues winning FO's at 36! "I don't want to talk about my injury, but....!" I wonder will Fritz react to "lightning striking twice!" Read an artlcle where Taylor was up on Novak at the AO last season! Nole took an MTO break and came back another person! The same thing happened in Fritz's match against Rafa yesterday so he should be doing massive eyerolls over senior members of the tour playing hurt, only to storm back and win over much younger competitors! :fearful-face: :astonished-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth::face-with-tears-of-joy:

What Nick wants is a gladiator style event to slay the great Rafa in front of the world video streaming subscriptions market He ain't gonna happen..Rafa ain't gonna play.

I've been hearing this that Rafa may not play! It would be just as busted as anyone who kills themselves to win a match just to default the next! :lol6:

Just reading the tea leaves..We have been here before this type of injury..I hope I am 100 percent WRONG.. Nick is one rough hombre to be facing wounded. This is very similar to when he faced JMDP. US 09.. That was horrible to watch.

I never saw it, but cheered when I heard Rafa was annihilated 2, 2, & 2! I thought m/b he was hurt again, but Del Po was lacing his shots in final! :lol6:

You ain't gonna bait with that foolishness.. Rafa's last two service games were a thing of beauty to stay in the match before the TBR

Facing Nick with his bag of tricks and lethal passing shots is a more daunting task then facing Fritz's groundstrokes..

Let's stop with trying to make me the Villian when I am being honest that I wouldn't expect him to play. It's my opinion not a lack of confidence but if the man isn't 100 percent how can he slay this dragon from down under. IMO This type of back and forth is unnecessary. If he plays, and wins, I will be the first one to be happy that I was WRONG.

If it's a real tear in his abdomen, Rafa shouldn't play! It's so "bush league" to defeat someone just to WD later, but what can he do? Poor Taylor! :-)2

Nick will have 3 days rest to face either homeboy or Djoke. Honestly, I never thought I'd say this about him but I like his chances no matter who he faces. On Mon we could actually call Nicky a GS champ.

If I were Taylor Fritz, I would be furious right now.

Why? Nadal needed to take some tests before making a decision, he didn't know 100% that he wouldn't be able to play the SF. Maybe the test results would have shown that it was a strain and not a tear, or maybe his practice today could have went better than it did? Fritz can only blame himself for not taking advantage of Nadal serving slower, etc.

Nadal has made the correct decision. He could hardly serve in practice. He was just practicing to see.Rafa could have made the tear worse if he played on
Get well Rafa.Shame this happened just before a s/final in a Grand Slam.
