Oh. Thanks. Missed it on first glance.

No worries. I try to keep all the info for the tournament on the first post so we don't have to go searching for it!

Interesting first round matches:

Belinda Bencic vs. Kerber (young vs, experienced)
Madison Keys vs. Timea Bacsinszky (ball basher vs. brainy player)
Qualifer vs. Eugene Bouchard (another possible 1st round loss for Genie)
Daria Gavrilova vs. Sarah Errani (new scalp for Daria)
Ebony Smooth vs. CSN (what happens when neither wants to win?)

Here we go again - another tough draw this year for miss Sunshine:(

Toughest draw: Caroline Wozniacki. This may be a tournament of particular significance for fifth-ranked Wozniacki, whose professional start was in the 2005 W&S Open as a wild card (just eight days after her 15th birthday). But she faces a wicked quarter this time, conceivably playing 2013 champion Victoria Azarenka, Wimbledon finalist Garbine Muguruza and World No. 3 Simona Halep just to reach the semifinals. It'll take a whale of a week for her to win her first title at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.

I don't think her draw is particularly easy especially since she hasn't played since her Wimbledon SF.

Just like Toronto, Serena could possibly see Daria, Venus or Ana on her way to the final.

Coco could meet Lucie again in R2.

I would say a fairly balanced draw overall.

OMG, Bencic is still unseeded! Poor #11 Kerber has to deal with her in the 1st round! I wonder has she come down off her high of winning Toronto?

I know, I can't believe it! When I looked at the seeds list in this post I assumed she mustn't be playing here. How can she win a tournament and move to #12 in the rankings and still not be a seed? :cover
