Does Kei play Warwinka in the q/final?

Yes. I don't think they've ever played before.

Thanks...no I am not sure either.

Interesting match up.

I was wrong. They've played twice, and Stan won both:

I've already offered them to you. Otherwise, don't you have a portrait in your closet? That's the best one. :snigger

Can Kei do it here??

..............

Portrait of Fashionista as Dorian Grey…in line at Starbucks, trying not to look tired, after a late night of tennis.

.....;)

Yeah, now that's going to be me, too. Hopefully, some combination of Preparation H, cucumbers and over-priced coffee will make me appear at work with a dazzling smile! (The portrait in my closet is going to look like a tired hag. :laydownlaughing )

Rafa fans never look like a tied hag No?:) I am certain you will be your dazzling self....;)

I am, too. It was pretty compelling! Hasta mañana, fashionista. And, as you say, I'm sure we'll be dazzling tomorrow, anyway. :hug

Happy for Kei, bodes well for future.

If he is 100% in the QF which I doubt, he can even get past Stan. Stan is playing ok but not great.

Congrats to Kei. He knows he was supposed to win the third set but did not get too down and gutted it out. Now as always, we worry about his fitness and health for the next match.

For Milos, back to the drawing board, work on the return game and the backhand some more. Also, against great returners like Kei, %50 first serve is not going to cut it. He goes for more because he is afraid anything less he is in trouble, and THAT gets him in trouble.

Congrats Kei and thank you for getting rid of Milos from USO.

I really had fun with the many return winners that Kei hit of Milos's first serves during
the match.

I did not get to see the last two sets as I needed to work early today. I felt very bad
that Kei lost the third set as he played better in it than in the first or second sets. But,
looks like he did not let it bother him.

I hope he can come back at 100% for his next match.

Kei has shown us now that he is fit enough to play long matches that goes to five set.
Now, if only he can be fit enough to play the whole tournament and whole year, I am sure
he will make it into the top 8, if not top 4. He already has enough tennis acumen and
skills. This man's success relies purely on his ability to remain fit.
