Without too much thinking I would say that Liverpool is ready to win the trophy this year. I don't follow football that deep so don't want to be taken too seriously. I will watch this one tonight.

Congratulations mate. A shockingly poor match, but I suspect it was due to the heat. I'm disgusted with Pochettino for starting with Kane. An absolute ballers decision. Trust the players that got you to the final. As far as I'm concerned his decision was based on minimising blame if the team lost. Just imagine Fergie starting a CL final with Cantona if he was just coming back from injury. He would have had him on the bench to deploy at the right time. He's made this mistake a few times before. In the middle of the season we were on a tear with Kane injured. And the Kane was declared fit, and what does MP do? He starts him against Burnley and we lost. Genius...

Thanks mate. I'm on Cloud 9 as you can probably guess. Firstly, yes, the match was frankly dreadful as a spectacle. I thought the pen was harsh but it was never going to be overruled by VAR because it did hit his arm. Still, if I was a Spurs fan I wouldn't have been too happy about it. I thought it was one of those calls that could go either way and fortunately, it went ours.

The early goal took the urgency out of Liverpool. I thought the Liverpool midfield was quite poor overall but Spurs couldn't really generate much in the last third of the field, other than that spell before the second Liverpool goal. Origi's goal was a really good finish.

I had an inkling you'd start Kane, and thought it was a bad idea. I actually expected him to pull up lame and you'd end up wasting a substitution. That wasn't the case, but he made no impact at all. Son looked dangerous at times but you were missing runners like Moura from the beginning.

May this be the springboard for Spurs to evolve into a top European club... just keep qualifying for the CL every year and making your mark. Question is does Pochettino stay? I think he might end up at Juve... if you're going to have any chance of keeping him then Levy's going to have to commit some big bucks to strengthen the squad.

Spurs really got handed their ass by Bayern last night. Did you go @Federberg?

While Munich's finishing was pretty good. Lloris was flat out awful when it came to positioning and commanding his own box. A liability.

I just saw the result and can't believe that Bayern scored 7 goals at Spurs stadium. Tottenham is not in a great form beginning of this season considering the premier league results too.
