And that on TV Fefe. If you're thin on TV you're really a rail in person.

Anyway, Mugu is bounced out by Svitolina in another 3-set slopfest w/ over 40 UE's. This does setup some nice looking semi's though. Caro/Aga in one and Naomi/Svitolina in the other. I give Naomi the edge to get to her first final. I don't know what will happen in the other match. Caro looks good, but Aga always plays better this time of year.

If Osaka hits to her FH majority of the time, she wins.

Must be a conspiracy that Serena is losing matches just for you.

15 minutes Highlights from final - Japanese commentator ;) For those of you who doesn't know how Caroline plays at the moment - here is a good opportunity to compensate for that - enjoy ;) Nice comments are welcome.

Caro's comeback at USO and after, following a string of early losses is quite good. Of course, those early losses are due to injuries. But, will she ever win a GS?

Congrats to Woz!! Happy to see she has moved past her ankle injury and is playing well again. 24 titles is quite an achievement.

Caroline was brilliant last week. Really took the match to her opponents aggressively. :clap

Naomi has a great game and huge potential, but she's a big bundle of nerves. Yet to be determined if this is just immaturity or a mental flaw. Hopefully, it's youth and she overcomes it relatively quickly, but it just underscores why I believe we won't see a teenage sensation win a slam anytime soon.

The match vs Radwanska was a very telling one for Caro's comeback. She came out playing flat, missing a lot of shots, and so retreated to what seems to be her comfort zone of defensive play. Once Radwa proved she can win a set played that way, Caro took up the aggressive shot-making strategy again in about the middle of the 2nd set. She started making the shots she missed at the beginning of the first, and gutted out two tight sets against the best pure defender in the game right now. If she can keep up this style of controlled aggression (similar to Kerber's new style) I think she can get back to the top 10 soon, the top 5 not long after that, and into GS contention- she is only 26 after all.
