Now I'm wishing Venus could have found a way through that R16 match. Osta will likely defeat Timea and find herself in a slam final that she will probably lose to Svito or Simona.

winning junior slams doesn't mean much unfortunately, most of the junior slam winners won't get big.... i've been following lots of juniors...... Like Fucsovics, he won junior wimby too but then he wasted his talent, then there was Gálfi Dalma, she won junior US open but Stollár Fanny is much more talented, if someone gets big it will be her.... Then we have Piros Zsombor who imo fluked the junior AO, i would be the happiest if he got big but he doesn't have the talent for it imo.....

so it's more that Ostapenko has big game and great technique....
