Madison and Taylor Townsend looked great today. It was good to see Osaka has lost about 20 lbs of baby fat but just ran into a real monster today.

Glad to see Townsend and Keys get through. And Halep's ankle is holding up, so far.

One day Venus is gonna figure it out.. If she comes to the net behind a very good approach shot that the chances that her opponent's winning the points are almost impossible.

You can tell how happy she is AP. She's positively glowing. And the poor cameraman is having the time of his life. They keep panning away to Serena in the stands just about after every point.

BMS does send Petra to the grass in 2 TB's. Grandma Venus looking good. Konta2 takes the opening TB from Mugu. This could be the end for the defending champ as she lost last month to Konta2 in Stuttgart.

Seems we have another arrogant girl among us Francoise Abanda (CAN). Before the match she said to the media: I'm sure she can't blow me of the court. Caro did that effectively with a double bagel. After the match: As I told you, fitness-wise and physically, I was tired. Caroline played quite well. She was smart I think that she played her second match. I played five matches. Physically, I couldn't sustain the challenge. I wasn't impressed at all,”Abanda's reply when asked if she was impressed with Wozniacki's game!
Well may I remind you that when Caroline was 20 she was #1 in the world playing week in and week out and never complaining. Arrogant broad me thinks. It was the fourth time Caroline double bageled a player on the WTA tour:

New Haven 2009 vs Gallovits Hall.
US Open 2010 vs Chang.
Istanbul 2014 vs Bencic
RG17 vs Abanda.

And ain't this cute

Abanda who? I don't even know who that is. I wouldn't worry about talk like that from a nobody.
