Jessica played a great first set, in all areas, Halep serve needs to improve and she dosent look like the same player in her q/final match,
Jessica is such a good front runner in a match and won the 1st set easily 6-2
Lets see if Halep responds in the 2nd set?

This 2nd set is not great tennis. There are wild errors on both sides and I can't figure out why. Neither is hitting w/ any kind of authority. Just some bad rally ball errors.

Jess has lost her way a bit from the 1st set, she needs to reset her game, she didnt allow Halep to dictate at all in the 1st set

Simo serve is looking like Daria's. She wouldn't get a speeding ticket either. This is all mental for Jess. She should be whacking these weak serves. It's inexcusable.

She does hold. 2-1. Now she can whack these love offerings and really put some pressure on Simo. Halep is still formidable off the ground. But if Jess can take control of the point early, it won't get into a long rally
