Welcome to the NFL Pick and Pass Tournament on the Tennis Frontier

This is an Annual tournament and is slightly different from the usual "Pick the results" type of game.
The Rules

One player picks 7 games from the week's matches for the other competitors to predict. Each match picked must be a match played on a Sunday.

All players (including the player who chose the games) predict the 7 results. 1 point is awarded for picking the winning team.... + 3 bonus points for 6 correct picks or a +5 point bonus for 7 correct picks in a given week.

The player picking the 7 matches will be done in order of sign up to the competition. If there are more than eight players, then the first eight pick the matches during the course of the season.

2015/2016 Winner: @Billie Runner-up: @Moxie
2016/2017 Winner: @Billie Runner-up: @britbox
2017/2018 Winner: @kskate2 Runner-up: @britbox

How to join?

When the season starts (little over a couple of weeks away), you will be given 7 matches to predict the winner or loser.

Right Now...

Just declare your interest in playing in advance.

Hello!!!

It's that time of year football fans. I have not followed anything so I am not feeling confident about picking at all, but it's fun just the same. I feel this is the year for BB to win.

Colts at Bengals --------------- Bengals
Giants at Jaguars -------------- Jaguars
Vikings at 49ers ----------------- Vikings
Ravens at Bills ------------------ Bills
Patriots at Texans -------------- Patriots
Packers at Bears --------------- Packers
Chiefs at Chargers ------------- Chargers

Thanks BB, how do you fare your team this year, with new coach, and Mackless?

I think the Mack thing is getting overblown in respect of impact. Sure, he's a good player and one of the best edge rushers in the league... but we're getting into Quarterback type wages... way too much for a defensive player IMO. So, unfortunately, we've lost him to the Bears.

A couple of Raiders rookies on the D-Line have impressed during camp and pre-season but it's going to be a long year for that Raider defense IMO. Offense should be explosive - they'll just need to rack up lots of points per game.

I like Gruden a lot... I was gutted when he went to the Bucs all those years ago, like his energy and I think we'll do OK this year - I'm being realistic in thinking that 9/7 would be a good year.

Tough opener for the Raiders though - I think the Rams could be a really good team this year.

Alex went to Washington. You know I am new in this sport so I don't have a team to root for, I like several of them, main one is where Smith plays.B-)

It still won't help the Bad News Bears have a winning record this year. LOL

Colts - Luck is due to have at least one good game this year
Giants - This is probably the best game of the day. Odell will prevail
Minny - will be good this year
Ravens - in a close one
Empire - old skool vs young blood. But in Gillette I have to go w/ Brady & Co. He has to prove he isn't washed up yet
Pack - Bears can't catch a cold and we live on a lake for God's sake
Chiefs - will pick up where they left off

I was pissed they got Mack. They've made a lot of good moves, it really all comes down to Trubisky. If he ends up being good the Bears are going to be a very good team for a long time. Would've been nice if the Packers started taking lessons on how to build a competitive franchise. They think they're brilliant by having two of the best QB's ever fall into their lap.

Thanks for pointing out the mistake on Home/Away DF,

Colts / Bengals Bengals
Giants / Jaguars Jaguars
Vikings / 49ers Vikings
Ravens / Bills Bills
Patriots / Texans Pats
Packers / Bears Bears changing to Packers
Chargers / Chiefs Chiefs

So, I'm backing your boys now considering it's a home game.

Good luck to your boy today Billie. He's clearly "back". I'm rooting for DP but not too upset if Djokovic takes it. Good luck to your boy Alex Smith too. He's going to need it in Washington...not a strong team
