Yeah, one of the big guns to go. I'm a bit disappointed by the tournament so far other than Wales winning Group B. It doesn't seem to have caught fire.

I haven't seen a lot of matches, but via the press, it's been somewhere between bad-tempered, ill-behaved and dull. Credit to Croatia today, who looked like they were going to protect the tie and live with it, and then went for it. But Spain and Italy have been playing some of the prettiest football of the tournament, and one will go out this weekend.

Hungary-Portugal was one of the most entertaining matches of the tournament so far. 3-3 will take both of them to the next phase.

It's been a terrible tournament - up until the other day, Hungary-Portugal (with Ronnie finally putting a half-performance), Iceland banging in a late winner, and on the same day, Ireland heroicaly claiming a last sixteen spot, with victory over Italy (and the referee).

Andy is Scottish, remember he declared for Scottish independence in the referendum? But the principle is the same, the Brits will declare the Brexit to be an utter triumph and the Empire soon to be restored.

Unless Andy sticks a pin in it again and says he cheered for Ireland in the final against England... :snicker
