Agree, both players I feel should concentrate more on their singles. Both players have won WTA1000 titles, the next step is a GS title, which is no mean feat to accomplish, doubles is great for singles play, maybe as a tune up,it depends on what they both want to achieve.
Sorry I wasn't around to see Coco's win, but what a phenomenal job she did booting Iga and not having a letdown in the final. :clap:

I assume BG will get his gig extension for the rest of the season?
Yes. As MM mentioned he has been extended through the USO. I think they are taking it one hurdle at a time. I'm not familiar w/ BG's personal life and if he is in a position to travel w/ her as a full-time coach would require. Or will he stay on as a high level consultant and Peri maintains the daily coaching role. I'm sure those discussions are happening in the background.
