I told you women's tennis' almost unwatchable! I saw a possibility of stabiity w/ Swiatek after loss of Barty, Osaka, & other seasoned vet! :fearful-face: :astonished-face:
Rybakina, if she wins the AO, could become a rival to Swiatek. That would make the last 4 slams Swiatek/Rybakina/Swiatek/Rybakina.

Don't look now, but Linda Fruhvirtova is coming. By this time in 2 years, she will be the clear #1 player in the world with multiple slams.

For all of her faults, I like Sabalenka. Maybe I just like big crazy Russians.

EDIT: and Sabalenka gets it done!

Fruhvirtova would have given Sabalenka a better match (and possibly beat her). This is Vekic's ceiling. You just know that Fruhvirtova has 'it', like Billie Jean King, Navratilova, Graf, Seles, Capriati, Serena, etc.

Well Linda had her chance to face Saba. She was in that R16 match w/ all kinds of chances and she couldn't hold her nerve. Let's wait and see how she develops.
