listen, there is a big hole in US tennis w/ the departure of Serena. They will latch on to any possible shooting star and they are disappointed if that star makes a fall
At least Coco managed to win unlike Banshee and Brady. Its good she won now before the big guns come back.

I think because Coco was so good at a young age, there are always going to be people waiting for her to win something big well they can all shut up at 19 she has just one her first GS title

Okay back soon as I need a much needed shower, after coming back from a run and missing the 1st set of tennis between Coco and Saba

She hugged him and let's be honest BG did a great job, apparently it was her dad who suggested BG.
But he knew he went as far as he could. He told her it was time to step aside and get someone else. I like the fact that he wasn't too stubborn to remove himself from being the primary coach and get her the necessary help

Unlike some parents who will remain unnamed.

Ons has had injury woes this year apart from her mental issues, quite frankly I feel she needs to take a break from tennis for the rest of the year, every tournament of late she injures herself.
She needs to go away back to Tunisia

Coco is the first American teenager to win a GS title this century. Prior, the most recent American teenager to win a major was Serena Williams, who won the USO, age 17 in 1999.
Coco becomes only the fourth American teenager to win a GS singles title in the Open Era ( since 1968) joining Chris Evert, Tracy Austin and Serena Williams.
With Coco's first GS title, Coco stands at 16-0 in the US since the summer began, her only loss was to Jess Pegula in the QFs in Montreal.
Coco will be the world No 3 on Monday updated singles ranking and she and her doubles partner Jess Pegula will be co-world No 1 in Mondays new doubles rankings.

What I like about this year in majors we have had 4 different GS winners, it has been spread around, than just one or two players picking up the silver ware.
