Even though he has not lost a set to Anderson, I think Federer wins in 4 sets because he was a bit off today against Mannarino.

This one is easy. KA is a born choker. There is no way that he will win this. Fed in three. However, I would probably give him double digit games.

Not only that KA won't break, I think Fed will not even face BPs.

I don't know. KA has been modeling his attitude against Rafa's. If so, I'd give him a set.

That's cute. Any decent play from Roger sees this through in straights.

Do I believe KA can serve well enough to steal a set? :yesyes:
Do I believe it will actually happen? :nono:

The length of this match is directly proportional to the length of time Fed takes to convert BPs.

KA talking trash too saying he can cause Federer a lot of trouble. Like the other matches if Fed is dialed in this match will be ugly. KA is a big server but way way less than Isner and Raonic. Against those two it is possible that Roger plays solid and still loses. Very unlikely but possible. Against KA that's not the case, if Roger is seeing the ball decent it will be a breeze.

Against Monfils it would've been tricky because of his heavy groundstrokes and unpredictability but with KA you know what you're getting so it's just about Fed playing to form and the rest will fall in place. Fed's played way harder big hitters than KA in the QF for sure.

Fed is the best among the big four in dealing with Big Servers. Fed has even expressed his philosophy of how to play against Big Servers. Fed says when playing against big servers, be extra careful on your own service games and make sure you hold every one of them. Worry about return games and breaking them as a secondary thing. This is very solid advice as if you don't hold, chances are high you will be losing the set.

Most ordinary players focus so much on opponent's service game that they lose concentration on their own serve and lose a game. That is a sure recipe to lose against a big server.

WTF? That's ridiculous. That's probably where KA has played most his matches too. This makes things a lot more interesting but how is Federer vs anyone less high key at Wimbledon than Nole-Nishikori. That shit stain of a tourney director never ceases to amaze.

These Wimbledon organizers seem to enjoy surprising people with their decisions. Is there a reason for putting Roger on Court 1? Maybe they are trying so hard to look fair.
