The H2H is 16-2. Both of Stan's wins came at MC one in 2009 and one last year.

I have to think Roger will prevail. Stan really hasn't lived up to his GS win at the subsequent Slams. He has much more to live up to, and Mr. Smooth, while he will be wanting it badly, I don't think will feel the same pressure. Also, I think Stan's strong physical style holds up better in 2 of 3. He's not as crafty as the Old Master.

Going for Federer in four. He seems to be in form as of late and when that happens Stan has no real chance.

I thought that must be it. I knew it is technically wrong. But, in ESPN they use that
phrase so regularly (of course, while doing predictions for football and basketball games)
that it has become the "correct" phrase, I think. Orange is the new black.

I think Fed takes this in 3 or 4. He is hitting well and should be able to take Stan out of his rhythm.

If Fed plays poorly enough to let it go to the fifth set, I think Mirka will heckle and despite that Stan will win.
