Nah it was very decent tennis it wasn't ugly.. maybe we don't see it the same way.. Garcia was a bit up and down but Sloane's game picked up tremendously

I'm not here to diss Sloane. I like her! I root for her. She just beat the defending champ here. But the woman won a Major, and I'd like her to play like that again.

BTW Mertens is without a coach in Cinncy, both guys who shared the job, Alexander Kneopkens and Seppe Cuypors, quit in the last weeks

Agreed on all points.. for me I just have been spoiled by Serena's passion while playing and when others don't display that type of energy my perception is that they're not engaging into their tennis to Always win.

After watching that Ons Jabeur match yesterday, I don't think that her biggest problem is anything mental or physical. I think that she just doesn't love the game of tennis. Her facial expressions at time suggested that she would rather be somewhere else besides a tennis court. I think Jabeur might be the most talented player out there (I mean, who else on the tour can do things like Rybakina and Sablenka on back-to-back days), but we don't see the full potential because she doesn't love the game enough.
