See I would either do Mirnyi, Tsonga or Llodra. I think Isner sure sounds good on paper, but is a disaster in reality because he offers nothing other than a serve. You need someone who can be more than that in doubles. You need that safety net of knowing they can bring more to the table than just one thing. Serena certainly has the package. You have to think about also say Serena had a long day in singles. Does she really want to have to depend on John Isner for movement based things if she isn't feeling it after a long singles match? I don't think so. She needs someone who can fill in if she can't be there 100% after a long singles match.

Well we sort of expected that - get well and return in the hardcourt season.

Can't see past Serena if I'm honest. Sharapova has shown the best form in recent weeks of people who could beat her, but it would still take an off day from Williams for that to happen. Shame that Azarenka won't be able to play this year.

Also hoping Heather Watson can put a bit of a run together.

If she can stay healthy, I have to go with Serena. But lately with Serena again that has been a big IF!

Serena will come to RG looking for her 18th slam. And there is really no one that can stop her except for Serena. Serena only needs to stay focused in each and every match. I would love to see Halep and Li do well. Can't wait to see the draw.

Does anyone know exactly what's wrong with Vika's foot? Did she have surgery on it?

Why! ...No " If " in the way she won Rome

If you really look at the way she has played and compare it to

2012/ 2013 Serena is doing the same thing.

She started off slow ( only 3 titles ) but around this time

( In 2012 it was Wimb...and in 2013 it was FO.)

She is winning.

We are approaching the average time she takes over Tennis

for the rest of the year. ( last 2 years ) Lets see how it goes

Max Miryni, really? She would be better off with a lefty, like Verdesco.

Verdasco (I DF on MP alot), not a chance. :nono

Better for her to go w/ a double specialist. Someone who isn't a top ranked singles player so she doesn't have to worry about them withdrawing on her. A player that can hold his serve and has a great volley. Llodra, Zimonjic, etc.

Not so far, I've only been blogging for a week but it's something I'll definitely think about in the future, probably mainly around the slams as I don't watch anywhere near as much women's tennis in the other weeks of the season, especially recently now that my love interest Laura Robson is off the tour.

Are you from England? I also noticed you were a fan of Murray in the ATP
I hope Laura's wrist surgery will be successful.I havent read any updated news regarding her surgery
