It is part of the main reason on why Nadal lost to Federer at Wimbledon. Nadal was just not aggressive enough on the return to trouble Federer's service games. He has to be aggressive! He can't let someone dictate points especially at this point of his career.

Rafa has always his 'momento' playing aggressive or the opposite, it seems that sometimes he forgets to play or he is traveling to the moon. Anyway I don't know it was the way he was playing or the McEnroe brothers and their comments which put me so nervous!!!!!
VAMOS!!!!!

Yeah...Cilic is shooked right now. The question is will Nadal stomp on him and continue to rattle him?
Excellent there! But what I don't like is that Nadal thinks this is enough pressure. Maybe enough for Cilic, but not for Roger. He has to be braver.

The ironic part of all of these is that they focused so much on being aggressive on the serves that they kinda forgot that he needs to return serves aggressively too!

Excellent 3rd set by Rafa. He needs more of the same play in the 4th and he is moving on.

I don’t think he is thinking about Roger. He still has a job to do against Cilic.

It is why I do not think Nadal played that bad in the 2nd set. He just became passive and allowed Cilic to become confident and gain some momentum. But once Nadal decided to be aggressive all round, then it was over...

And he needs to do this on Wednesday too against Diego. He needs to establishes an aggressive mindset or else he will lose a set just like tonight.

Of course he is not thinking about Roger, I said that because the Moxie comment. First he has to win this match (I hope he does) and then the next one and then we'll see with whom he will play

Double break is a really good thing for me because that means closer to the Bianca/ Taylor match. I can only stay up till 11 PM .

Just like Zverev, Cilic needs some sort of mental break after this tournament. He looks slow and the way he is hitting his shots like there is no confidence at all.

How easy is it to be aggressive on Federer's serve? If Roger serves decent Rafa isn't going to be in a lot of games. Roger won that match by returning Nadal's serve decent, and handling him pretty easily from the baseline with decent first strike tennis. it took Roger's return making Nadal look like Sampras and all around passive play for most of the match for the 2008 debacle to happen.
