Didnt Sorana heave a shoulder injury earlier this year? which did keep her out of competition...I also believe Dareen Cahill was also advising her at one point.

Well, she is having a terrible year. She started the year with 3 first round losses
(auckland, Sydney and AO) and then after showing some signs of life, she had a
streak of 6 losses in openers (indian wells, miam, Charleston, Stuttgart, Madrid and rome).
It looks like she had some sort of shoulder injury/surgery). However, she seems to have
come back too soon, if she actually had a shoulder surgery. She lost another opener in
Wimby making that her 10th of the season.

But, I think we cannot complain that she is underutilizing her talents. :s
