Thiem rocking the backhand in the TB. Great one hander. Great forehand DTL winner too. Clean TB, up 6-0.

Kokk may be gone, but Duck is in.

Yes, Duckworth is the newest top 100 player as of this week and he is following up nicely with a second round appearance, after he has come up through the qualifications.
Nice job indeed.

Bunch of matches going on. Youzhny got his feces together and is now leading 3-0 in the decider.

Of course, the one I am waiting to see is the Delpo-Popsicle match.

Bolelli having his way with Baghdatis...looking ugly out there.

Some tape on Delpo's left forearm. So far he is hitting OK.

Popsicle holds from 0-40 down. On serve, 3-2 for Vasek.

Delpo is slicing a lot on the backhand side now. He is not comfortable with the double hander yet seems like.

Vasek takes the first one and gets the first set.

This is a tough one for Popsicle too as he has no idea what to expect from Delpo. He is doing his part so far.

Here is the thing with Delpo: If everyone on his medical team gave the green light for him to play, they must believe he cannot do any damage to his wrist. So , as opposed to hitting those slices, he should just hit the double hander as much as he can, pain or not. I am sure the docs told him there would be pain. Ignore it and go for it.

Coric will serve for the match after coming back from a set down.

Nope...Coric cannot seal the deal. Off to the final set TB.

Did I break the "talking to myself" record? I think this is 13 posts in a row.

I saw a vapor trail on that Delpo forehand...wow. He can still unleash them...

By the way, Delpo is not using the good old KFactor today. I am sure he finally ran out of those. He has a solid black racket, probably the specs will be similar to the old Kfactor.

lol! I got so distracted by the tennis, I forgot to post.

I'm glad Coric won. He played a steady, smart third set tiebreak. I have high hopes for him.

The Pospisil/JMDP match is a bummer, because I like them both, and wish they both could have gone deeper than round 1.

Great job by Vasek to break back in the second, then hold. We'll see if JMDP can force the tiebreak.

That was another one to get to 5-6, 30-15.
