We are once again with a Djo-ray final. Does Andy get the upset or is this going to be Novak?

Nole looked good today, very focused. If he is as focused tomorrow, he gets it in straight sets.

He was laser focused... he knows he has to be if he's going to beat Isner. Good prep for Murray Sunday.

Djokovic got over his ennui and found his will to win today. Same could be said for Murray, who also played his best match of the tournament today. But Murray tends to suffer at the hands of Djokovic. Unless Nole has another walkabout, and/or the wind comes into play, signs point to a Novak victory.

I agree 100% with Moxie. I think Djokovic's focus and form against Isner today were astounding, and if he is similarly dialed in, will best Murray for sure.

Muzz is not Isner but he is too emotional when he is losing. If he would play more positive he would be able to win more titles. Besides to have a good game to be focus and confidence is the main thing to win. Hope he can make it this Sunday

Muzz must be glad that Kim did not say she will marry him if he wins Miami.

The two are getting married in about 6 days.

In order to take care of the wedding arrangements, Murray will want to get out after two sets; but those two sets will be of much higher quality than his IW showing.

Very true. His second serve is about 80mph instead of 115. He will need to get a very high percentage of first serves in to make this one competitive.

Muzz doesn't have a torpedo serve but he has a good one and he is much better player than Isner, if he plays with confidence and less emotional the match will be very competitive. As you have seen the serve is very important but not enough if the player makes many unforced errors like Isner usually does

Murray is a much better player than Isner. He is not, however, a better player than Novak. His 2nd serve and forehand are his vulnerabilities and that hasn't changed. In the recent past Novak has made him pay dearly on 2nd serve. To be competitive, Murray has to maintain a very high first serve percentage.

Murray played a solid match today and this is basically his home away from home court. But Djokovic's level was impressive today. Hard to predict a win for Muzza but he sure could use this one. His first Masters in two years, his tenth overall and a nice wedding present. I'm sure Kim doesn't want to marry him when he's in a bad mood. :snicker

Novak is serving pretty well, today he did 9 aces for 10 of Isner which it's very unusual comparing to Isner usually does. I agree that Muzz has to serve better but it doesn't mean that Novak will do so well like today, maybe he does or maybe Muzz will do better. And about who is better player as I said before Muzz could do much better if he would be more positive and having more confidence like Novak is right now but about the game, hmmm, it's another story

By the way Muzz has made 8 errors in the whole match playing against Berdych who according to many people is playing his best

Believe it or not, Novak had the ten aces, and Isner had nine.

Djoker-Murray isnt just a tennis match, since Muzza potty mouth after AO lost this become more personal, which was obvious in IW, and will likely be same here. Novak is sharp, so i think 2 straigths for him.

I am going to watch a challenger match or something. Serously, Muzz wil most likely eat a bagel, and would probably need the help of the tennis gods themselves to make this competitive.
