Casual-looking but gorgeous return from Roger to take control of that point.

Roger placing that slice wherever he wants and getting good angles on the backhand

Outstanding game there, Anderson was hanging by a thread all set.

...and Roger grabs the first set. Couple of strategic slice returns did the job.

Ah, and that's where the best will lay low and then go in for the kill, rather than bother with a TB. Roger's ROS was excellent in that game.

When you approach the net against Roger, if he does not have a clear passing shot to play, he still makes you hit a difficult volley...that is a very important play in tennis and most players just go for impossible angles and hit out.

Roger sure seems to have the feel for his new stick. And he's moving beautifully. Don't feel I need to stay up too much later for this one.

What have I missed gang? Been watching the OKC. Fed looks in great form. Similar to Dubai but likely a level above that.

Kevin gave his best for one set, Roger always was the better player, and second set he just fell apart. Roger in good form and returning cleverly.
