my feeling in this match is that if Roger wins the first set he'll win, if he loses it he might lose. Nice to see a break. I don't feel comfortable about the match up generally but so far Tomas is not returning quite as well (or Roger is serving too well) to represent a threat

It is always a challenge against the Bird but Roger is playing a very clean match so far.

Another one of those short top spin returns from Roger. I am liking it .

So far, Federer is playing cleanly and Berdych is putting the ball on the net often. It will be interesting to see if Berdych can clean up his errors.

A bit tighter from Roger serving for the set. 0-30...now 15-30 with an amazing volley combo.

Best set Roger played since against Nole in Dubai. Clean.

Bird is not bad either though and I do not think he is going away easily. Roger should aim for the early break.

Good and clean set from Federer. He is making Berdych uncomfortable with his variety of shots.

Looks like Federer is too good today. Too bad he can't play like this in the slams any more. :snicker

What a point! Vintage Roger...

It is beyond frustrating to know that against Rafa, should they meet....:(

I don't think it's a certainty that Rafa beats Raonic. Not often I look forward to Rafa matches, but that one I"ll watch

My father is here watching the Roger rout of Berdych. He's quite happy. Me? Not so much. :nono

Even if I 67% agree with Murat, if Federer wants to beat Nadal, the time is now.

I'll be rooting for Raonic. After that '14 Australian Open semi, I decided I never wanted to see another Nadal-Federer match again.

I guess 87% of the points Federer won on this set are highlights material.
