Novak in straight sets, though I dont like this match up at all,it seems to bring out the worst in each other for some unknown reason.

This is the worst possible tournament for me timezonewise, have not seen a single match. So can't say too much about this. Novak has won their past 5 encounters and this might just be the tournament where Murray is able to snap the streak. It also doesn't help that Novak gets three days off, that's too long.

Still going for Novak in 3.

I never totally get the general grumpiness about this match-up. OK, at majors, they will be long. But I like the cagey chess match that they can play against each other. I'd surely rather see them play each other than a big bomber against either. Anyone who isn't in for the longer haul might consider a different sport. It's not like tennis is usually ever quick...and when it is, it's generally an uninteresting match.

I think Novak takes it in 3.

Murray had more court time so is a bit better suited to the conditions. Djokovic will get distracted by a few small things and the scot will take the opportunity.

Murray in three in a break of serve fest.

Novak has a second set walkabout, then takes it in three.

Knowing he will face Fed or Rafa in the final, methinks he will forgo the walkabout and take Murray, 6-4, 7-5.

Surface suits Novak. If he's sharp he wins in straights, but Indian Wells is a tournament that seems to produce sloppy plays sometimes, especially due to the wind. So I'll go with Novak in 3 with a sloppy patch in the middle that Murray capitalizes on.

My instinctive answer is always Novak in this match up, but there is one thing that makes me cautious in this particular match.. the wind. If Andy is to break Novak's streak it should be here

I voted for Djokovic, but really hope that Murray can finally get a win against one of the Big Three. What's his losing streak against them right now?

Just checked the official ATP site. Murray's last wins over The Big Three:

Djokovic: Lost 5 straight, last win was '13 Wimbledon
Federer: Lost 3 straight, last win was '13 Australian Open
Nadal: Lost 2 straight, last win was '12 Miami

Time to break this streak Murray.
