lol! I'm a Spurs fan and I'm living in terror right now.

Arsenal didn't have a single red card this season. Some of the VAR decisions were crazy, including what should have been a straight red for a Havertz studs up challenge against Burnley. That said.. congratulations to them
What’s happening at Spurs! Seriously, they must be the worst run “big club” in football. I think they’ll stay up but it’s not guaranteed. Draw against Everton is enough, West Ham play Leeds, it sounds like the voiceover for big blockbuster movie release. But seriously, they must be the most frustrating side to follow.

After Leeds over the last 20 years, of course!

mate! Spurs are painful to follow. A long time ago I emotionally detached from their results. It's ironic that they sack Levy and then this happens. The problem with Spurs is that (1) they don't pay their players (2) they'll compromise on getting their number one option because of price

That second thing is the entire story. Player A will improve the team but costs £60m (we're not even going to talk about the wages they'll want to pay). Spurs will bid £50m hoping to get the other club down to £55m. The other team tells them to get lost (Spurs are one of the most loathed clubs to deal with because of Levy's penny pinching). Spurs move off Player A. And look at Player B, who is clearly not as good as Player A, but serviceable in the same position. Spurs will bid £50m for that player, a player whose club knows they're worth £40m. Obviously the club agrees the deal. And Levy will crow that he saved £10m. Noooo you fucking MORON!! You've spent money on a player who's not going to improve the team.

Now imagine doing that repeatedly for a decade. That's how you move from a team that got to a Champions League final to a team struggling to survive in the premier league. And to this day, I guarantee you Daniel Levy still doesn't get it.

I don't claim to know what the new guys who've taken over will do. But if we survive...IF! This might be the lesson they need to understand how bad our squad actually is now. There are clubs like Bournemouth, Brighton and Liverpool that use a variant of money ball to find good value excellent players. I honestly don't understand what we do anymore. But it needs to change... PROFOUNDLY

So happy Arsenal won the league. I’m a Leeds fan so I’m happy this season anyway, think we did great, but I think Arsenal are a great club with great traditions, and City are are a bit fishy. Did Pep give up the job because they’re about to be exposed for financial doping? Hopefully!

Arsenal are owed an apology. We all thought they’d bottled it when they lost the Bournemouth match - and they did choke that match, but not the season. They deserved a draw at the etihad and were in danger of becoming a meme, but in the end they finished strong and it’s City who choked.

Hopefully Arsenal go on to beat another artificially inflated club, PSG, in the CL final!
I was convinced Arsenal would find a way to choke it away but quite pleased to end up with egg on my face. I think they have a much better chance against PSG now - the pressure won't be as suffocating. It looks like Pep might be leaving City too.

Bizarrely, since Liverpool's owners gave Slot the biggest war chest in the club's history, they've gone backwards a lot.
it's been crazy mate. What a fall off. I guess he rode Klopp vibes last season

Talking of bad VAR, Celtic seemed to get a lot of decisions their way in the last few weeks of the season.
I was sick they won the league, Scottish football is a joke. Hearts winning it would have been a shot in the arm..

I kinda feel that they have to back him. A 2nd league title in 36 years and then a CL placing isn’t the worst. Ok. They fell off a cliff a bit but he deserves a chance. I hope he drops Salah and tells the rest of them, get over yourselves, we all can do better next year, starting now!

Do you think the verdict is in regarding the 115 charges? Pep would never choose such lousy timing to jump ship in normal times..

They’re like that forever. Under-achieving and not having a clue what to do about it. My bro is an Arsenal fan and he loves to joke about spurs last title tilt versus Leicester in 2016, that they came third in a two horse race. Behind Arsenal. When they had Jose they reached a final and these serial losers sacked the serial winner before the final.

They’re absolutely impossible to fathom..

Ditto. I was brought up as a Rangers fan.
I’m Irish Catholic and generally we like Celtic (-ish) but I tend to view that league as a low level duopoly, and Fergie busted it up spectacularly in my youth and since then it’s business as usual. Terrible!

I wonder where Pep will end up. I wish he came to Galatasaray. That means we have to fire a coach who won 4 league titles in a row but no one is happy with Okan Buruk. He won't do any better in Europe than this year and fans want more.
Happy for Arsenal fans . It's been a minute or two.

My family were vehemently anti-Catholic, so it was Rangers all the way - drummed into me when in short trousers. I upset the apple cart a little by marrying a catholic and bringing my boys up as catholics.

I can't see him going to Turkey to be honest.

One can dream, but we can afford him, he knows the atmosphere already...But this would only work if he is after a new challenge. Who would not want to work with Osimhen? He is one of the top 3 forward/strikers in the world in my opinion.
But I know, it is a tough one.

I can't really look beyond Italy for Pep. He's already been in Spain, Germany and England. Unless he just wants a mammoth payday and a trip to Saudi.

nah... we keep waiting for something. We're all almost giving up hope that they'll ever be punished
