I haven't seen Tursunov play a single point, but he's made it this far, so he must be doing something right. Nevertheless, I'm going with JMDP in two.

Anyone seen DP this week? Does he appear to be healthy? Even if he's banged up he should get by Tursunov but after seeing the scoreline with Lopez I wonder if he still isn't 100% following Montreal.

Regardless of the outcome I for one am very happy for Tursunov. He's been having a real career resurgence. 2 semis in quite high profile tournaments this year including a very close 3 setter semi with Isner in Washington 2 weeks ago and now a masters 1000 quarter final. Isner has a far better serve than Del Potro so given he took a set off Isner and only lost 6-4 in the 3rd in Washington he has a shot here for sure.

Delpo is going to blow him off the court with his FH

Tursunov actually has quite a forehand too. Extremely explosive and ultra fast. Hit hit some great shots against Isner 2 weeks ago. For sure Del Potro is the overwhelming favourite but Tursunov can play. He's been injured for quite a while and it seems he's having a bit of a Haas like resurgence now that he's injury free which is great to see.

Tursunov's got a nice overhead too.

Tursunov wins the second set. He is such a clean hitter. Why isn't he ranked higher?

I don't follow him closely, but whenever I hear about him "injury" or "injured" are often in the sentence.

I voted late, sorry!

Delpo got broken late in the second set and lost the set 3-6 to Dmitry.

Now Delpo is trying to break, early in the third set.

Once I started thinking about it, I recalled some outbursts and racket breaking incidences as well...I guess injuries plus not being too stable upstairs can do that to a person.
