Federer reached 23 Grand Slam semi finals in a row. And since you can't reach a semi final without reaching the QF first, I'm sure your nonsense above is wrong. Also, Novak had a semi final streak himself. So no, this is not some kind of record at all. In fact, it's not even a record for Nadal. Between the 2009 US Open and the 2012 French Open, Nadal made at least the QF of every slam, which means 11 QF's in a row.

Yeah I fully expect him to step it up. He's smart enough to understand what the opposition brings to the table, but it'll have to be a much sharper performance.

sound like a bitter federer fan boy, mate also I would not to try to impress you because anything short of the title is a bad news. statistical nadal been the best player of the event he is only player not to drop a set, so regardless of that you think he's been the best statistical.
