Holy shit...that effort from Rafa at 0-30 after he fell...No one would get up there and run for that ball to the open court. No one. Respect.

Congrats to Nole on the comeback. He is still not there yet but another Wimby can sure help that. He is still pushing too much.

Nadal really let that one go. So disappointing.
Sorry Moxie. I honestly don't know how it happened. I feel almost complicit watching that. Feel like I should be preparing a witness statement for the police...

I didn't see the match but following the scores on flashscore it seems like it was one of the best matches of Djokovic-Nadal rivalry.

Congrats to djokovic and commiserations to Nadal :)

I don't know really... he was never in pole position. Was the better player for much of it though, granted. Novak showed some big cajones when it mattered - namely, the break points. Serving first in the decider was big for Novak.

By rights he should have won that 3rd set, and it would have been over after the 4th. Big what if, but seriously...

I see it both ways really. They both had extended periods where they were dictating play. I thought Nole really struggled in the big moments on return but stepped up on serve. Nadal seemed way more steady compared to Nole after the first set when Djoker was in video game mode.

Congrats a Novak and also Nadal, the first one to come back to the game, good service, smart decision playing in indoor and very good resistance like his old times and the last one to show that he can play well in grass and indoor though that serve has to improve more in this kind of surface.

What a time for (A) my stream to stop and (B) my laptop to completely crash, requiring me to turn it off with the off switch. Followed the scores on my phone and was genuinely in shock to see Nadal lose it to 0 in the last game. Not gonna lie, I'm obviously delighted but equally I'm not gonna be a prick about it and sorry to the Nadal fans as that's gotta be a tough one to swallow, especially for Nadal himself. I have no sympathy for him as I can't stand him but have a smidgeon for his fans :) Gonna be an awful final and I actually think if his legs aren't completely dead, Anderson may actually win ! Frankly amazed Novak managed to win as his returning was just beyond awful. Everytime he held serve I was utterly shocked.
