@ the rate of 15 mins per game, even a single set with a score line of 6-4 will take two and half hours. Good luck Angie and Serena, get some lunch.

From what I see, today and yesterday, Rafa is willing to rush to the net and finish the point when he thinks he is getting a weak shot. Nole is not. He knows he is getting a slice, but he sits back to see what happens. He is not confident yet.

Similar pattern to the last few sets yesterday. Rafa going for it more than Novak

a large part of that is they are afraid of each others court coverage and they're playing conservative at the start of this set
Even yesterday there were many long points. They did hit winners, but still I expected more winners. Or they are moving very well.

Novak is literally just pushing the ball in right now and Rafa is punishing him

Wimbledon has to be one of the dumbest run slams yet. So they've already made a colossal f/u with the schedule yesterday. Their answer to fix that is to put the men's resumption on 1 hour before the ladies final! The women have stayed on course but yet they have to suffer by not being able to start their final on time.

ok it's just been confirmed on tv here that Novak wanted the roof closed and Rafa wanted it opened. So it stays closed

While it is a reasonable guess, Wimbledon officials say they would not officially disclose anything except that it is not the case that both agreed to open the roof.

what on earth is wrong with Novak. There is no pace on his shots at all. By the time he changes it might be too late. Rafa will be too confident by then

Like right there...he had forward momentum and chose to back up and got passed.

This is just abject surrender from Novak right now. He's just pushing. If he's afraid of losing he's doing everything to make it happen

Novak is having a classic letdown after not converting those BP's. He's flat right now and we'll have to see if he gets another wind in the likely 5th set.
