He has allergies all week apparently.

It may turn out that the rain delay has made his life easier. Who woulda thunk it! I really wasn't happy yesterday when Gael go the 2nd set, and I thought the extra day would just turn it into a 3 set krap-shoot. But the old man came out and did the bizz todaycrystalfire said:well atleast fed didnt need to exhaust too much energy. i dont even think this was an hour

Meanwhile Roger should be furious about that last service game. Monfils got lucky in a few places (he must have hit about 6 lines in the last several games), but the net flubs really hurt him (he was overhitting them b/c that dropshot get was still in his head).
A bit of a strange match actually. Roger was winning a lot of long rallies, and Monfils was hitting a lot of winners. One would have thought the reverse would be true.

Now that you mention it, I'm not sure why he added a comment about a court change. I thought it was on Chatrier. The official schedule on their website even lists it that way.

Yup. I just took it foregranted. And correct me if I'm wrong, Murray was scheduled for Lenglen and their matches overlapped

The break from yesterday helped him get his serve back and maybe cost Monfils some momentum...but those are the breaks. I was wrong in thinking all the QF's were Wednesday, the bottom half plays tomorrow so it was good that Roger got done in a quick 2 sets today.
