I remember Novak was playing better in that event coming into the event and Fed was really off against Blake , Tipsy and Berdyc

Yes I have, I though that was Novak at his offensive best.....extremely clean striking and big point mentality

Yes, but Rogers movement and pace on groundstrokes were less than we had seen

he wasnt at his best, thats for sure. He did abused Blake and Berdych back to back before the SF

2011 SF was one of thefew matches Ive seen Roger play great and still be totally outclassed

Federer was the better player up through 4-4 in the first set.

But he just doesn't have the mean streak to finish off Nadal. It's hard to fault him for that. He just isn't that kind of hardcore, fierce competitor.

And sorry, but "finish off?" He only just had a good start. He wasn't close to finishing him off at any moment in that match.

HY thats what I was saying . I thought he was awful against Blake and Berdych even if he did win in straights
