The WTA site lists Ivanovic as 6' (1.84m), and Serena as 5'9" (1.75m). Both seem wrong when looking at them on TV: Ivanovic appears shorter, and Serena looks taller.

Well hopefully Serena goes into the US Open confident. At least her serve is on point, and the return is getting there. The ground game still needs a bit more work. However, two hard court titles going into the open as well as the series winner should bolster her confidence.

There is good news for Serena going into the Open. Although she hasn't been thoroughly convincing in form aside from the serve, none of the other girls has been remotely convincing in their form either. In fact, the women as a collective whole have been rather mediocre this summer. I hope that changes and we get fantastic matches from start to finish at the Open. No doubles Serena!
