Actually I was curious how this match will play out. Murray never played the improved Nishikori of 2014. Plus in the past Murray was a top 4 player.

I like what Koenig just said. Kei will continue the Davydenko era

He is better than that I think. Incredible improvement this year.

It is a very good comparison. The thing is that Kei has shown that he can serve well at times whereas it was never the case with Davydenko.

Only problem I see with kei is he is still so hesitant to come forward to finish points early, even when he knows he is going to get a floater.

Great example...Kei stopped playing there...he should have just gone forward and finish it off.

If Kei will play well here in London and win some matches, he will get a very good shot to a top 4 ranking early next year

How are the scruffy British mob responding to the Scottish player?

I just switched it on: seems the Highlander is finally clashing swords with the Samurai...

The crowd don't seem bothered either way, about Murray. There's no evidence of backlash from his Braveheart tweet, but they hardly seem to be slapping their palms together loudly on his behalf, either...

This match just encompassed the changes which happened in men's tennis this year.
Kei Nishikori improved a lot, Murray is on a downhill path.
Kei was 0:3 against Murray in H2H and that was a stat of the past, which is meaningless today.
