I consolidated some of the Spanish language pieces into a blog post. Feel free to "like" it or retweet, etc.

Post is here.

For sure Rafa's status is very much in the air.

It appears Rafa's wrist is taking longer to heal now, than first expected. He still is unable to practice his 2H Bhand, from the video's I have seen.As a fan,I am disappointed that he could not defend his USO title, still Rafa's main priority now is to get his wrist 100% healed before he return's to the tour.

I guess a lot of us underestimated the severity of his injury.

I thought his withdrawal from the USO was just precautionary for his future. You know, there was a lot where he looked like he'd overcome the injury and play, but yeah, not good indeed. :(

Wrists are very ticky. I had a left wrist problem earlier in the year and it took months to get better.

I want all of you to remember your rafa pity when he dominates next year. ;)

That being said I can't wait for his return. The game isn't the same without him. I blame him for Novak's loss at the USO. He let his guard down. (Just teasing for future historians.)

made me laugh hearing about djoko not playing dc in india citing 'exhaustion'..i thought bah, Federer is 33 played 64 matches this year and is up for it..

maybe going to india for a playoff does not appeal when he could be home with jelena and the emerging being.

Looks like the waiting game is over.

According to tennis.com article , he plays against Tsonga in exo
in Kazak and then plans to play Beijing and then Shanghai.

p.s. Nadal may or may not be well enough to play in real tourneys, he is always fit for exos
where they give him a million bucks. :snigger

I think Rafa's recovery/return time is being aided by the likely absence (physically or at least mentally) of his chief nemesis, who is (understandably) distracted at least until his baby is born. That should definitely help ease Rafa back into competition :).

I very much doubt Rafa cares.

Currently Djokovic is nowhere near as good as Nishikori or Cilic anyway.
