Great last 2 points by Kyrgios. Was thinking he was well out of this TB.

Right, bedtime for me at almost 5:10am. Expected Robredo to win and he will. Doh. Great first set at least by Kyrgios but a little more tennis iq and less aggro/tantrums and he'd have won set 2.

He has to grow up. His attitude is childish, not just his brain immature.

Was still watching a bit there but definitely gone now. His demeanor is really nothing different from the likes of Gulbis or Murray in particular but they still manage to not go off the rails as much as Kyrgios does. Getting vocal and agitated is one thing but allowing your game to go to complete crap is another. At least Gulbis and Murray don't do that to the same degree.

Robredo appears to be more successful in his second life than in his first life.

If you spend a good part of your young life being told tennis is (almost) everything and that winning is preeminent - you will feel a lot of pressure out there in your matches. In the big moments the waves can feel insurmountable and your game suffers.

Then you face real adversity and realize that life is not about tennis, or winning. It changes the way you perceive as well as the way you approach things.

Tommy is much more settled, much more poised. You can see it on his face that he's been through the battles. And you can see it in the way he plays the game that he's in the match. He may not win, but you know he will throw everything he has at you and that he will not beat himself.
