Finally, a couple of 500 pointers with some major names playing.
I am hoping for a Canadian harvest here.

Ferrer went out yesterday. Stan 1.0 shows up and drops the opening set to Ito 5-7

Stan is fizzling out, and has been, for a while. Can't see him making a huge charge to finish the year, either...

He's totally inconsistent all year but he played a local player there today which doesn't help if you're that inconsistent. He's already qualified for the WTF though so we'll have to suffer through more annoying looks to his box with him moping around.

I think he'll start shoving on weight. He'll be fat as Elvis when he gets to Oz again...

Probably lol. He always has a puffy looking face anyway.

Tsonga is also eliminated by Przysiezny, ranked 142 in tight 3 sets. The seeds are not faring well at this event. Land of opportunities.

I also see the Donald won a match in straights. Definitely the land of opportunity. There were 3 retirements today:
Nieminen to Becker
ERV to Melzer
RBA to Simon

The Nard Dog loses, but at least he gave an effort.

Dolgopolov has an excuse, he is just back from a surgery, after months of absence.

This is massacre. 5 of the top 8 seeds are already gone and the first round is not even
finished.

Only Kei, Milos and Anderson left.

Kei takes this trophy.
