So far I've posted a total of 246 songs/artists in all sorta genres and eras starting with Joss Stone @ page 18 - Some maybe have noticed that each artist/song only occurs once and that I always have taken the time to add a Wikipedia link för each artist in case you wanna know more about him/her/them. I hope that at least some of the artists/songs have been appreciated and that you maybe have discovered something (or someone) new.

To those who've added their "likes" to some of the songs I wanna say Thank You! :) . It's always nice to know that at least someone has listened to and appreciated a song which I've posted ;)
Enjoy!!

I've clicked on some that I've never heard of before. You certainly know your music!

^ "The order of death" is definitely imo the best song Public Image Ltd. released. Featured on the soundtrack to the cult movie Hardware. Almost sounds like a totally different different band.

Not a Katy Perry (or is it Katty Pery?) fan, but stumbled across this video yesterday and now I can't get it out of my head. She can't sing live to save her life but she does makes weird cartoonish videos. Also noticed yesterday that her "Darkhorse" video has over 1,000,000,000 hits. That's one billion. Good Gawd.

Dylan again, back when he was the coolest man on the planet, from his upcoming Bootleg Series, Cutting Edge, covering that deified sequence of albums, Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, and Blonde on Blonde:

^ A must-have release. As if any of Dylan's aren't ... well, OK, maybe not "Shadows in the Night". ;)

I still vividly remember being transfixed the first time I heard "Like a Rolling Stone". It was late at night, and I was falling asleep under the open sky, on a boat docked in a harbor, when that one-two punch of drums came floating in from a boat a few docks away, immediately bringing everything into sharp focus. I don't think I moved the entire six minutes. To this day, I hear that opening one-two punch, and get transported back to that night.

Like a Rolling Stone is the ultimate conversion song. It was this that got me into Dylan too, and it all grew from there...

One of my all-time favorite songs:

Stevie Wonder - "I Believe (When I Fall in Love It Will Be Forever)" from Talking Book.

Thanks for posting it! I was away from the computer when I posted that. I prefer Stevie Wonders version though...

Ennio Morricone's song, "Gabriel's Oboe" from the movie "The Mission". One of my all-time favorites. I think I even once asked my wife to play this at my funeral. lol

Sarah Brightman apparently begged Morricone to let her put words to the song and he kept refusing until she kept asking and he finally gave in and "Nella Fantasia" was born. That's the story I've heard anyway. Brightman's version is great, too.
