Here I will be sharing music pre-1950's so people who are interested in old music can listen & I hope join in with the sharing of music from the archives. (It also means we can share good music that people judge you for listening to & sharing for different reasons which were seen as appropriate when the songs came out like Al Jolson's songs. I will also give an account later of a 1940's sing-song I conducted at work yesterday.

On Saturday we had a 1940's day at work where we got dressed up in 1940's clothes, female staff wore 1940's make-up & different sections told about different aspects of 1940's life & the craft sections showed people how to make rugs & quilts out of rags & the food section talked about rationing & served food they would have eaten in the 1940's. I conducted a 1940's sing-song. It was fun.
