Novak's dad needs to let it go. The fact that Novak has matured and isn't doing any of that nonsense anymore is proof enough that they know he needed to clean up his act. Fair play to him, he did sort himself out, and he has become a superb and dominant champion. I do wonder if any of his father's animosity towards Federer has been retained by Novak

He did a similar interview a couple of years ago and Nadal was also in the crosshairs... to the effect that their relationship had totally changed since Novak started beating him etc.

He looks like a nasty piece of work as well. Amazing that he doesn't realise that this is good stuff for his PR conscious son. Both Nadal and Federer's families seem to be a lot more sensible and reserved about this type of stuff

A Serbian version of Richard Williams? I've always liked Novak, but his parents and fans REALLY put people off. In comparison, you see how often Fed's and Nadal's parents even applaud their opponents' good shots and they never criticise other players.

Must be a pre-requisite to be obnoxious in order to be Djoker's fans (or parents).

And a simply answer to Srdjan's question 'why is Fed still playing at 34?', because the guy is rolling in 50 mil a year even when he loses to players ranked in the 100s. Also because he is the only one or two who can even hang with Novak, what a shame a 34 yo needs to do that for the tour. At the present state, when Nadal is past his prime and players like Wawrinka show up once every 20 tournament and Murray beats himself (once Lendl left), can you imagine a tour without grandpa Fed who still huff and puff around?

Novak's father likes to talk too much and it's obvious that he doesn'like Roger at all.

Yeah, that was a strange comment.
