It's possible. I've never had an appendix problem, but I've had other surgery and I can't imagine the pain medication will be much comfort for an extended period of time. He'll need to have the surgery, probably sooner rather than later.

So end of season for him ???

It should be Isabelle. He should shut it down for the year, have the surgery and then spend the next 2 months regaining his strength. But Nadal appears to be stubborn. He just may try to play through this condition.
